As a network typically like to deal with advertisers that aren't looking to deal with affiliates directly. If they want to deal with affiliates direct 9 times out of 10 any big affiliate is just going to go around you if they have the opportunity for a higher payout on the same terms. Many people will not know how to "cold call" the advertiser and get to the right person. Just a guess.
