Ad:Tech New York
I am headed to ad:tech next week. I do not normally like to spend time at conferences, in general I do not receive a ton of value from them.
Regardless, I am headed out to New York next week for a few days.
Anyone else headed that way? Would love to meet a few new people. Drop me a comment if you will be around and maybe we can talk shop.

I’d love to come but just don’t have time. I’ll probably go to PubCon and ASW though… any plans on going to those. Affiliate Summit is always a good time.

This is a bit off topic. I occasionally hear rumors about anonymous bigtime affiliates who earn 1 million monthly. Such amounts seem a little crazy to me. I’m sure you know other high rollers in the industry. So what kind of money do these guys earn? I’m not asking what you earn personally. I’m just curious about the super super affiliates. Cos I sometimes hear folks spending up to half a million in ad spend, which is mind boggling.

@Chris - Neither of the numbers you named are particularly staggering. It is not easy by any means and it takes significant amounts of resources and dedication, but the figures you mentioned are not even the high end of what is available.
